Bond™ is built on a simple principle: your dog's data — and yours — belongs to you. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it. We keep it in plain language on purpose.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and, optionally, your first name, so we can send you launch updates. That's it for the website.
Inside the Bond app, we collect only what you provide during onboarding: your dog's name, breed, age, sex, origin, and training goal. This information personalises your training plan. We do not collect your real name, home address, or payment details directly — subscriptions are handled by the App Store and Google Play.
Audio & Bond Insights™
Audio is processed only when you explicitly activate Bond Insights™. Recordings are analysed in the moment and discarded immediately afterwards. We never store, sell, or share audio data. The microphone is used only while you are actively listening — and you can revoke microphone permission at any time in your device settings or in the app's Profile screen.

How your data is stored
In the current app, your dog profile and training history are stored locally on your device. Production builds will offer encrypted cloud sync — always opt-in, never automatic, and always with explicit consent.
Analytics
Our website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first, cookie-free analytics tool with EU data residency. It collects anonymised, aggregate usage data (page views, button clicks) and never tracks you across sites or builds a personal profile. The app collects anonymised product events (e.g. modules started, sessions completed) to improve the experience; these contain no personally identifiable information, and you can opt out at any time in Settings.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the EU or UK, you have the following rights over your personal data:

Data deletion
To erase all local app data, use the Reset option in the app's Profile screen — this is immediate and complete. To be removed from the waitlist, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or contact us. For production data requests, email privacy@bond.app — we respond within 72 hours.
